Our Aventuras are back for their second year of summer fun as we continue our love for the outdoors, delicious and nutritious snacks, weekly field trips, pool days and more all while soaking up the summer sun in Spanish! This year, we are excited to extend our summer camp to eight full weeks of Aventuras to take place from June 18th - August 10th.

 

Over these eight weeks we will exercise our bodies and our minds as we Go for the Gold, enjoy S'more Fun Outdoors and become Mad Scientists! We will end our summer fun with Mission Aventuras where we will celebrate another successful summer, creating lifelong memories with friends we will never forget.  Please see our weekly Summer Themes below:

Going for the Gold: June 18 - June 22

 

As we embark on our first week of Aventuras, we will Go for the Gold as we compete in our first annual Aventuras Olympics. We will learn of sports from around the world and compete in daily challenges of some of our traditional favorites. Baseball, basketball, soccer, football and more will keep our Aventuras active and energized throughout the day. During our periods of rest, we will nourish our bodies with healthy snacks and our minds as we learn the importance of exercise!

May the force be with our Aventuras as they travel long, long, ago, to a galaxy far, far, away. During their journey, the young Jedi will train their minds in all areas of STEM and the force will awaken once again as we zoom into the night sky while on-board of Star Aventura!. Throughout the week we will explore science with Yoda, talk tech with C3PO, engineer light sabers with Luke Skywalker and enhance our coding skills with R2-D2 all while battling the evil Darth Aventura.

Our Agent Aventuras will decode letters, solve mysteries and put our detective skills to use as we spy our way to successfully solving our missions. With each mission we are able to solve, we will unlock a daily clue leading us to our final top secret mission which is sure to end our summer with thrill and amusement!

Payment
Payment is due in full by May 15, 2018. If registering for a program after May 15, full payment is required at the time of registration and all payments made at that time are non-refundable. Accounts will be automatically charged on May 15 to the bank account on file for the remaining balance, unless prior arrangement are made with administration.

 

Waitlist

Once a program is filled, a waitlist is started through our online registration system. When registering for a waitlist, complete all of the requested information. No deposit or payment is required until a space is offered to the camper. Should a space become available, Aventuras will directly contact families on the waitlist in the order in which the waitlist request was received. Families will then have 24 hours to accept the available space before it is released to the next name on the list.

Payments lost due to withdrawal from a program cannot be applied to the next year’s programs or to a sibling’s account.

 

Changing Your Reservations

All requests for changes in schedules or services, not including cancellations, must be made in writing 14 days in advance and are subject to space availability. There is a $15 charge for any changes made to existing registrations once camp has started on June 18, 2018. There is no charge to add programs. After May 15, all payments are non-refundable even if a camper switches to a program with a lower fee.

 

Returned Payments

A fee of $50 will be charged for all returned checks.

Required Paperwork

A child may not attend camp until all required paperwork has been submitted and received by the administration. Cancellation policy will apply.

Withdrawal

The camp may require the withdrawal of the child for misconduct or other conditions that are disruptive to the functioning of the camp. This is at the sole discretion of the camp staff. In the event of a withdrawal, the primary contact shall be obligated to pay the total due for all remaining registered sessions.

Multi-Week Discount (Day Camp Only)
Valid the entire registration period. If you register a child for three or more weeks of camp, a $20.00 discount will be applied to all weeks. Discount is applied automatically at the time of registration. Discount is removed if a change in registration results in fewer than three weeks of day camp attendance.

Early Bird Discount

Valid through midnight on April 1, 2018. The weekly rate for each camp week will be $365.00. Discount is applied automatically at the time of registration. Early bird discount can only be applied to weeks registered prior to April 1st. Program changes may be made during the early bird registration period, and the discount is maintained. However, any changes made to your registration after April 1 will result in loss of the Early Bird Discount. Discount is not available for Extended Day.
